EGNOS

Licence-free differential correction signal

EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) is available to users throughout Europe with no licensing fee due. It complements GPS and uses data from 34 ground stations to generate differential correction signals.

EGNOS is available for all standard tractors. With a precision of +/- 15 to 30 cm, it is ideal for many applications in crop spraying, crop fertilising and soil cultivation.

If you have specified the GPS PILOT with EGNOS, you can always upgrade the system to a higher level of precision such as BASELINE HD. You will then have at your disposal a mobile reference station that supplies your machine fleet with the license-free differential correction signal over a radius of up to 5 kilometres. See page 28 for more details.
